A couple short internship related items. First, the Canadian Intern Association is brand new and devoted to improving the working conditions of interns. They're on Twitter, Zuckerworld, and the Interwebs. Also, they're having a planning meeting this coming Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Yonge and Davisville Starbucks (fitting as one can only imagine the collective number of coffee runs that interns make for their oppressors daily). Second, the Huffington Post has published a great article on how unpaid internships may be a drag on the economy and contribute to economic inequality.
